Before you book
Read the Pro's profile, reviews and completed job count. Ask questions in the chat before accepting a quote.
For regulated trades such as electrical, gas or plumbing work, ask to see the Pro's licence and insurance directly. A verified badge on NeedNDo only covers credentials an admin has reviewed.
Agree scope, price and timing in writing through the platform.
On the day
Confirm the person who arrives is the Pro you booked.
Keep valuables secured and let someone know when a job is happening at your home.
Stop the job and contact us if you feel unsafe.
For Pros
Confirm the job details and address through the platform before travelling.
You can decline or cancel a job that looks unsafe, and you can block or report a user.
Emergencies
In an emergency, call 911. NeedNDo is not an emergency service and cannot intervene in real time.
After you are safe, report the user or booking so our admins can review it.
